Gay Cruise Spots In Rhode Island

Advent burns a little light ...
burn for me this year, no candles, but for the sun even more. The time now is really hot and mulled wine, and advent Gutsle I can only dream of. But good. There is little Christmas decoration is also available here and I'm even an advent calendar, where I can every morning to open a door.

A few weeks ago I was on a real Mozambican wedding. This was a mords party with total number of people. In between were always a couple of chickens slaughtered to provide the necessary food supplies and the beer was flowing and not too tight. All marriages go over two days and it is tradition that the husband of the woman's family must pay money to marry her. Also is really everything for the household away. Which is then handed over to the singing and dancing couple. Hence the picture, as did some gift ready for surrender.
However one feels at such festivals also imemr a little out of place. One can not move just yet so loose you can not sing the songs and understand rather less. When talking about such traditional events but everyone just prefer Changana ... Otherwise, I now have

really started my new job. In this children's home, that we enjoy it very much. Until now I still get to know everything, but I'll have a lot of freedom to develop my ideas. On good German: either I can think of something to make one or I'm sitting around. But here you have the opportunity over time to create something and to implement them. The children are definitely always there. They have already started to teach me something Changana and I also wanted to learn as a little bit.
Here are my Mexican Mitfreiwilliger Carlos, Paulo, a staff member and several children. So slowly I can even name what is not so easy is.

This is our kitchen. Here I would like to see frankly even our dear Blaubeurer Kuechenteam. In a white dress with hood as they receive the goods inspection service :-)

Our kids at naptime. If they are awake they run around everywhere. Love is constantly taking off their clothes and bring a mango au masse. On the whole site there are Mangobaeume and just starts the mango time. Yummy, yummy, yummy!

Cost To Get A Hernia Removed Puppy

Short News Update: Frelimo won in all cities. Everywhere by a large majority.
I was in my new project. It has the simple name Mutanhanaweru and is in a district on the outskirts of Maputo. Ca. 40 disabled and non disabled children to 13 years. The Catholic Church operates the home. I'm curious, but am looking forward to it and I hope to finally find work, then I perhaps made even more fun :-)
And now: Go for the weekend. Bom fim de semana para
voces!

Common Exotic Mammal Pets

VOTA SIM - SIMANGO VOTA!

It's now been about two weeks in television, newspapers and everywhere in the city to hear and read. Today, elections: Eleicaos Municipial - it is so everywhere in Mozambique elected the mayor. Here in Mozambique, there are two parties, FRELIMO and RENAMO, the. However, in this campaign, only one party is present: the FRELIMO. For it is by the local government has no money for the campaign. RENAMO has no money, so is this party to see alternating following something. FRELIMO has luxury arrangement, however, television advertising, a lot of leaflets and posters, every second wears a T-shirt with the name of the Frelimo candidate of the city (David Simango) and there are many optional courses. So which party will win this election is no big mystery and, many do not even choose. Above all, actually put into any of the two parties hope. There is no work, the city is full of trash when it rains (and it is currently doing very often) most of the roads are under water and many houses have no running water and are not drains connected. FRELIMO Change customer can not, RENAMO but probably even less. The politicians "eat" the money, as many say. Themselves have big houses and cars, the promises they have but do not provides the SOLUTION real problems and the people very little of all the money that is wasted in politics. After all
was the highlight of my family now seen as the friend of my host mother was on TV - which is namely a journalist with the largest daily newspaper here, and, since he is responsible for the policy heading to do a lot of the dates accordingly. return, he also has the whole house with beautiful labels equipped Frelimo and my mother tried in vain to choose to . Persuade
In the Chapas and in the city (which is now deserted - it is once again holiday) but you could see who was beautiful and who choose not - this is still signed with the fingerprint and each of the voters was NEN has blue-purple finger.

In my project just goes all haywire. In the night on Friday is someone has broken into and all computers (including the entire data of the organization), all laptops stolen (including my ...) and the TV. It was eingbrochen with a key, so it must have been someone from the organization. The atmosphere is accordingly and no one trusts anyone about their way. The police is on (but are not necessarily used for sedation) and also incidentally is still to be identified with any traditional methods. How accurate is designed to look not clear to me (when I asked they said only that I would not understand because I was not from Africa ...), but in any case, the result that there was a woman who is broken. Among the numerous members of the organization are three women (a fine example of the gender distribution here ...), but many men. Be suspected but now only three. Quite unfair to have no chance to defend themselves. Actually, I have Africa as a whole considered as fashionable, but this incident scratches but very much of this picture ...

this organization but I will now turn his back first anyway. After the permanent under-(or non) job I have now complained properly and with success. Although our head quite beautiful has pressured the Traenendruese, I have to have me do with my statement and also to have held out no hope on Monday and is now in a new project. What is it exactly, I know not yet, probably an orphanage for handicapped children. I learn more details from Friday and Monday, I can hopefully finally start to work. I'm excited and looking forward to hopefully, in a nutshell to have to do not hit me for tomorrow morning at the ears ...

Bang Bross Free Watch

With this picture I would like now time love greetings Send in the already snowy Germany! The news that it snowed in Germany, gave me a day brings the best mood, but here now probably because I experience my first year without snow! Out of sheer joy, I am on the weekend, brought at all to the beach of Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique in the south, down and hit my wildest sunburn. Unfortunately, my bill does not quite, my skin is still not sun-proof and despite sunscreen I always come back knallerot back home to let me admire there then. Meanwhile, my family after all, understand that sunburn hurts quite beautiful and it is therefore not so great when everyone gets touched ...
understand with my family I better and better, so slow I can also communicate more with them. Especially with my 18-year old sister, Vivi, I come from getting better.
In my family all afraid to sleep alone in front of a room. Normally, my two sisters with me in a room (the place in the evening a mattress on the floor). My two brothers sleeping in another room. But if either one is not there, the other comes even to my room. So then they sleep three to a small mattress, but still it is all rather than to sleep alone in a big bed. Sometimes it was even all four, because my little host brother sleep in a room with me necessarily, my other host brother but did not want to be alone.
So close I could not live, but as long as I make my bed I'm happy.
Here in Mozambique, just all the world is sitting on the exam. The educational and work opportunities are very poor. Exams consist largely of only multiple-choice tasks, and even with the best performance at the end of schooling you have very little chance. In Mozambique there are only a handsome university, to come to it is almost impossible. There are some private universities, but they are too expensive for most people. Only one percent of Mozambicans studying!
are also the possibilities to find work is very limited. The population is exploding, but Work does not exist. Most people are unemployed and for young people it is very difficult to find a job. And even if someone has a job, this is very poorly paid. Therefore, total number of young people looking for work abroad. Since then begin but already the next problem: the visa. No industrialized country wants to give Africans visas. In addition to numerous health tests (which yes you can fully justify it ...) made a lot of requirements. If you consider that we have for our visa is here made only one application and paid the appropriate amount of money but really unfair.
last weekend here was a spectacle with lots of music. By chance I came with a friend in the VIP area. There were almost exclusively white and also on stage, as organizers and benefactors many white occurred. I've felt this kind of funny, but the roles were distributed as clear at this moment: the good rich whites helping poor blacks on the legs.
So you notice it again and again, are distributed as unjust things in this world. Here you can get it again and again to feel. But still, people are more open here, happy and totally helpful. There is just a very different sense of belonging.

October - Part Four: Riga and Pärnu

RIGA!

the best for last: I was in Riga ... and I do not know where to start to tell. Riga is just wonderful and worth seeing. After a few weeks in our small but cozy Viljandi, you can not you just imagine in such a city (feels after all the largest in the Baltics). I was the first time after my departure from Germany really the feeling of being in a big city: Riga is yes, then again a lot bigger than Tallinn. The idea to go to Riga, we were on a Thursday evening: Mareike (another German volunteer) called us and asked us if we do not feel like the next day with Valentina (Italian volunteers from Viljandi), Thomas (French volunteers from Viljandi), had Celie (French volunteers from Tallinn), Caroline (Belgian Volunteers from Voru - go to South Estonia, www.viva-estonia.blogspot.com) to Riga - South Estonia) and Leonie (German volunteers from Voru. A few minutes later we were sitting in the bus and came to clock against 23 in Riga. And I say to you: Riga at night is an absolute dream. At one of the bridges is a blue light chain, which then reflected in the Daugava (river) and the city has to simply only flair. We then made a 12-bed room in a hostel (hostel) in the old town and our bags are then first in the "French Bar" ("French Bar") gone. And it was I think by now the most beautiful evening and the most beautiful and vibrant night ^ ^ I had been here ... there have been many wonderful evenings, but that night in Riga, I will not soon forget. And this night was the best proof that you can have fun without alcohol, if you're with the right people at the right time and right place. I drink that is still no alcohol (except wine in the church), even though the Estonians and the Latvians probably very happy to ensue. The next morning I wanted
then to the synagogue. But has since been renovated and now I am once wandered across town to the Talmud school (where the service was then held) (passing the Freedom Monument, the German Embassy, Russian Orthodox Church photos ... see below). After a few quarters of an hour, I then saw on the road four Orthodox Jews. In Germany, I was actually always in the liberal Jewish community, but hardly "orthodox" Jews know. I've been with them then talked a bit about the first Jews in Latvia and let me explain that the Jewish community and Jewish community life in Latvia (Which is mainly concentrated in Riga) is well developed and much of the Chabad movement (Hasidic Orthodox form of Judaism) coined ... in short, I here make me more diligent!  At the church service, I then also met someone whose son is a rabbi in Dusseldorf. I just had to soon return again, because I with the other volunteers also wanted to see the city. The photos you see below. The weather has also played it yet. In the evening we went went to a (very) small Latvian-Lithuanian-Estonian Folk Dance Festival in the building of the Technical University of Riga ... there dancing until 1 am and had of course a lot of fun (see Video below) and the next morning then went back to Viljandi. Since we are our connection in Pärnu a few hours later, we are there briefly went to the Baltic Sea to our feet into the ice cold water and make us even after the (quite extinct on Sunday, although fourth-largest city in Estonia) to look old. Pärnu, the summer capital of Estonia and has the typical seaside architecture works in the fall ... but not so attractive.

German Service, meeting with Estonian President concerning the funeral of Jaan Lattik, work in the parish, the Russians in Viljandi

On Saturday I then the president taken by Estonia. I've taken him not only stopped but even the doors.  The whole was this: Yesterday we were in Viljandi, a man named Jaan Lattik and his wife Alice were buried Lattik. Jaan Lattik was a pastor, writer and Estonian Foreign Minister from 1928 to 1931 and lives during the Soviet occupation in exile in Sweden, where he died in 1967 also. His body was then transferred to Estonia. The ceremony was held at the St. Paul Church, where my mentor (for the year here in Estonia as my contact person responsible for acts pretty much everything) is pastor. The whole thing was quite solemn and Estonian: students stood beside the coffin with the Estonian flag, military officers, more than seven pastors from the surrounding communities, Minister of Education and even the Estonian President ... I then put in the back seat and saw that the main doors were opened to the church. One of the doors but then fallen again and I then got up again, whereupon I asked one of them, the door just stay on. And then suddenly came the President. Not even two months in Estonia and have seen the President ... Below are a few photos.
way I do now and in confirmation classes with the St. Paul Church to continue to study hard Estonian. My mentor, who is also my pastor even said that I will soon also like to able to assist in worship (Bible text read & Co.). If I want, I can soon maybe even pass the sacrament: the liturgical part of course he does continue, then I would just hand out the bread and wine and what to say in Estonian. ! My pastor, he is way Salumäe Mart is incredibly comfortable, friendly, communicative, humorous and helpful. Recently he has tried, with the Russian Orthodox priest here in Viljandi initiate cooperation in the ways, but the Russian Orthodox priest did not exist. The other day I visited, here are the Russian Orthodox Church or small chapel ... the room was quite dark and the relaxed atmosphere not just (the priest took me all the time - as I think was very suspicious - observed). As fast as I would not go there anymore at all.
all the way: The population of Estonia consists of more than a third of Russians. Here in Viljandi but just a very few Russians, and I hear really even Estonian. In Tallinn and northeastern Estonia, it is however quite different: there are actually even cities and towns that are inhabited more than 80 / 90% of Russians. This is due to the fact that you have set during the Russian occupation, many Russians in the north-east Estonia (the whole is called "Russification"). The north-east Estonia is strongly influenced by the industry and it is still strongly suggest not to drink water from the local lakes. A former volunteer who was already in Narva (North-East of Estonia, the third largest city of Estonia) reported that in the bakery could not even order a sandwich in Estonian, as the baker only spoke Russian and wanted to speak Russian. Soon I will write much more about it, because it certainly is not a small issue: it was in Tallinn last year between Russians and Estonians also rioting in the streets with the dead ... but I think I know far too little about it.
But now back to the title back: last Sunday we were at the German church service here in Viljandi. Though it was just eleven people there (including us three volunteers and the very young pastor), but drinking coffee and then we were invited by a great-grandmother to celebrate Christmas with her. Two of those who were coming originally from the Rhineland, and are after the fall came as farmers here. You do not know yet whether they want to stay here forever, because they also have family in Germany. The Schleswig-Holstein in turn, can trace his family history in the Middle Ages up to a very famous German family in Estonia. The so-called Baltic German I write during the year determined once was. The German minister is responsible not only for Viljandi, but also for the whole of Estonia and also happen to be working as a teacher of German and Philosophy in Tallinn. The German service will be held here in Viljandi place but only once a month, on the other Sundays, there are also still German church services in Tallinn and Tartu.

YMCA

was before yesterday, once again, youth night or YMCA meeting, every Friday evening from 19 clock in St. John's Church will take place - yesterday we are then only at 0: 30 Clock returned. Our first Estonian girlfriend (music student at the Viljandi Culture Academy in here) that we are on the birthday know an Italian volunteers had learned the first time we had invited, and since then we actually go there every Friday and will do well for the next months. At the beginning we always sing a few songs from the hymnal youth, talk about a biblical passage and make the rest of the evening relatively independently. Some then go from the youth room in the basement up into the actual "church" to sit at the piano and a few (gospel) to sing songs. The fact that the Estonians can sing well, I had been to a couple of guide books and the like read. "Good singing is but for what these young people are capable an understatement: and here actually everyone (even without vocal training) sing. Who sings not mentioned or simply to set, you can play in the basement, talk, or candles - make plaster casts of hands, ears, noses - such as yesterday.

we are usually translated Kalmer (the youth leader, who spent a year at a Bible school in Norway), what he has said in Estonian into English again, but the day before we even get it translated into German. The approximately 24-year-old director of the Gospel Choir of St. John's Church was there: she was an au pair in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and really speaks perfect German. We will then go to gospel choir, having now first in the church choir St. Paul's Church (where we sing more traditional church and folk songs) join. The director of the Gospel choir we live almost opposite and almost - like the other young people at night also - incredibly nice. The Estonians as I got to know them yet, have an infinite spontaneous, intimate, humorous and natural way I know I'll have written the determined before, but you can not imagine how much I am pleased so many nice people to get to know. And the conversations are usually then anything but superficial, but usually very honest and personal. Just before the (official) end then we pray together and sing yet little. And colors them slowly to comfort me off, at least I have the feeling that I will even relaxed a lot. Above all, I am learning slowly to enjoy my free time and sometimes get to do anything. Learn more diligent course Estonian: Did yesterday even be able to say what in Estonian about the scripture that we read at the youth night. Discussed more later.

This is Estonian for "good evening" ... first of all I want to apologize to you that I have so long reported. One thing first: I feel still very, very good and I can not tell you how happy I to say after the first less than two months in Estonia, that I have the feeling of having met with Estonia and my project and everything else all around the completely right decision! I am currently in my first seminar, on-arrival training "in Viinistu, a village in northern Estonia. By Thursday we will be 30 volunteers (including far too many German, French, Belgians, Macedonians, Armenians, Poles, Austrians, Spaniards, Italians, Brazilians, Hungarians ...) then we deal with our "European Voluntary Service / EVS. Since we have enough time in the evening times write an email and of course also Internet There, I'll try you up to date about my experiences here in Estonia (and now also in Latvia) bring.

Best Powered Paraglider

To finally get out of this dirty town last weekend went to Bilene, a beach in Gaza province, north of Maputo. A couple of volunteers and what in my organization.
to buy on the street gabs tasty fish. Unlike other weird animals in which I'm not quite sure if I would buy food from the street and saw the fish but from all delicious and so he has fortunately gechmeckt evening too!

on the beach have come again and again street children who sell us something, or wanted money. We have talked with a few. In particular, the knowledge of a Changana-Mitfreiwilligen they were very impressive (in the provinces of Maputo and Gaza Changana is spoken further north not more).

was definitely a great weekend even without stinking Chapas, the one in the morning to blow their black exhaust fumes in the face.

A week before I was with my host mother in Swaziland. A land fairly close, but yet very different. Quiet, neat, clean (there's even trash!), Cars stop at crosswalks, etc. But still, people are really poor, Maputo is too expensive for the people there, so all Mozambicans go to shop for Swaziland. We visited the sister of my host mother. Which has only a very small room, and a toilet with more than 10 other families together (as at night was cheerful Eimerpissen announced, because it is in Swaziland too dangerous to go out ...) and no running water. But still one has the feeling that everything is not unreasonable. It is how it is. It is no longer in Mozambique because it is impossible to find a job there. In Swaziland, there are some Chinese garment factories, which provide many Mozambicans work.

Oh ... Green is also Swaziland. And it took me totally confused that people suddenly speak English. With the English of Swaziländer much worse than the Portuguese of Mozambique is. Actually have all entertained the whole weekend to Swat, so I again did not understand anything ...

is otherwise of everyday life here has returned. Twice a week I work in Boan, 30 km from Maputo, and the remaining days in Maputo. On weekends one can always find enough parties where there is no shortage here. Yesterday we went to Dalila, a friend. Grilled, made music, nice sat together. That's always nice again.

The guitar may never actually be missing, the others are traditional instruments. The right are Dalila, Helder and me. Both are good friends. Dalila is the way also my confidant here at Ajude, the partner organization. Since I was lucky. You have to thank her for the moment and the long post from me because she brought me here with her taken into Ajudebüro. You have to work today and what I have to go so even the possibility to correct the internet and not being under time pressure. Also has something.

Last week we had in our street a water pipe burst. The result was that two days running incessantly water from this hole that was missing in our course, then. More than a trickle, we did not get in the house from the tap ...
And here they have started the water areas to stop and then a little hineinzuschaufeln sand so that it flows out in only one direction through streets dei ...
Today I've started
in another project to work for two days a week. Our task here is to visit families in which one or more members are HIV positive. There, we then check whether the drugs are taken properly and people regularly go to the hospital. All this usually runs into Changana or Ronga, but my colleague, I translated the conversation in Portuguese. This works quite well and people are looking forward to total, if I told you then Changana, at least say goodbye. However, I have to go to work this morning and a half hours because it is in another district. Until now, however, it is interesting.
On the day of German unity, we came Mozambican nice too late. Have missed the hymn and the speech, but purely carved at the bar and the good Weisswuersten and other delicacies. The ambassador lives there alone in a huge house. Somehow abnormal in a country like Mozambique ...

How Soon Can I Take A Bath After

images images images

Soso, now that the whole photo paraphernalia is done and I become a super-duper cable ownership, and in my work were spared to the PC, is now finally a few Photos !!!!!
This is our house. Three of my four host siblings. Junior (front, 6), Glenda (after, 5) and Vivi (Back, 18). The Vivi here has the job of Empregada, which is sort of a housekeeper. Pretty funny, where she is at my age .... It is not the daughter, but the niece of my host mother (as well as Glenda, who lives here because their parents are dead). The two kids can be so real nuisance, but are actually quite cute ... The day they turned up because I've unpacked my photo ... I share my room with Vivi and Glenda, the place in the evening ne mattress on the floor and sleep there.

only once .... for the small color difference, if someone my beauty in my profile picture could not perform all ...

my beautiful and very bed. And not to despise my "door" left behind in the picture!

Here we gather the last Saturday finally even our clothing donations. Actually had to happen that would leave on Thursday, but since our boss because NEN really bad hangover we could not go. The next day another was so offended and did not come and finally we made it on Saturday. But we were not anywhere where we would have to be. But after all these clothes and hats where there are still more. Tomorrow, we begin to wash the clothes - by hand, mind you ...
Well, I'm otherwise fine so far. Since I now know that it works here, there is perhaps even more often, especially since I just did not take pictures of the landscape, or the city or so hab. But you just can not have it all ...
On Friday we move into the house from the native German Ambassador times to celebrate the Day of German Unity - apparently with really good German food!
