A Different Way To Wax A 12 Year Old Eyebrow

As you go on vacation Wedding &

VACATION! !
is now for the first time by 15 January relaxed. Soon it is in the Green Turtle Lodge, where I will be many days and evenings with cocktails, wine and books on the beach and just the "stress" of recent weeks forgotten.

And again it is hard to believe how fast time flies. For over three months, I find myself here now. Since there is still some time for a little summary. The following are excerpts from my first official report to the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

If I now remember the time shortly before my departure, I come now to my already naive. Were my associations of Ghana but rather a flat rate of "developing country" reduced, although of course I always tried to differentiate the whole thing. Since we are always caught in the fast generalize: Africa and the Thought of himself, sitting wrapped in a small hut in the wilderness by locals, drawing from a water fountain, etc.

But you can describe something so complex as life in an unknown country or hard to imagine before you have not experienced it myself. Accordingly, it is then relatively quickly disillusioned. Life here (at least from the perspective of the city as I have met so far) is busy, loud, busy and colorful and has little to do with any romanticized Africa stories that are familiar from adventure novels.

And even if it is here in part as the major problems with infrastructure, but has by standing at the roadside water vendors up to the head teacher or university professor here each its place and its strong role functioning. And then somehow rolled up and the road each day with on and off and somehow it is always there to where you would like to go, sometimes it just takes up his time. Ultimately, there are more or less all there is here too, but just in a slightly different way.

So, I'm assuming that I have on the beach is no way I'll get back to pictures or put them online. Would therefore I do so then on my return. I wish you in advance a Merry Christmas. I will definitely have;)

Do You Need A Horizontal Licence To Go To Vegas

Accra Part 2

Thus it was on Friday evening with the VIP bus to Accra for the wedding of a cousin of Douglas. After we checked into the hotel, it was already in a bar in which the night was spent. The next day there was a reunion with some other volunteers and friends from Accra, Ghana. The Saturday evening was then spent with Laurids place where there was a barbecue-and-bred. The first real meat after three months. This has definitely done well. On Sunday morning we went to the wedding in Madina. It was nice to see how the Ceremony takes place here, even if spoken almost exclusively in Twi. Pictures speak louder than words, so enjoy the sensations. After about 180 exams, and corrected again twice as many tests I'm tired at the moment of writing. It will forgive me.

Port And Liver Cancer And Prognosis

ICJA

Christmas is coming, and if one or the other among you should feel the need something good to do (see the Stockholm-Christmas Syndrome), then he should read the following carefully:

"ICJA voluntary exchange is making the world through international meetings and intercultural education practical peace work and promotes corporate
political commitment. "

threatened loss of public funds education program
for international volunteers in Germany

Ladies and Gentlemen,
dear friends, and friends,
international volunteers from the ICJAs help for years in the care of senior citizens
or support the educators in day nurseries. They work in
facilities for people with disabilities and engage in world shops for
global justice. About 50 young people come from all over the world
under the ICJA exchange program each year to learn to us to life in a
other country, know a different cultural space and simultaneously
by their commitment to contribute to cross-cultural understanding and
the stimulation of everyday life in their placements.
While the volunteers from Germany are supported largely by funding programs
Federal Government and the EU, who have international volunteers
the cost of their replacement entirely on its own
So far, the ICJA of the Association of Evangelical Youth (AEJ)
federal funding for the implementation of the Training and Evaluation of the international
exchange of young people and for regional group meetings related. Now
those reduced funds continuously until the promotion is set entirely in 2013
is. This cut hits us hard. Even if much of the tireless
commitment of our volunteers assets can be collected, can be paid
not all charges due to personal commitment.
your support makes it possible to offer our international volunteers in the future
an attractive educational program and the support by
the regional groups and the quality of our exchange program to secure
. All who have experienced it themselves even know how exciting,
important and challenging life in a foreign culture and cooperation
is marked with different people and the importance of
know well-designed monitoring the experience.
why we ask you to take this opportunity to make a donation for the care of our international
volunteers. We thank you in advance for your interest and
your involvement!

Best wishes from ICJA Board
your
Birgit Schaffitzel

Authentic Mexican Cheeseenchiladas

proposes Examination Week & paperwork

Today began the "Examination Week" at the John William Montessori School. This is something like the big final week of work written in each subject before the Christmas holidays. So also in ICT. This meant for me to design for grades 4, 5 and 6 work. I have done in the last few weeks. So then today was the big day for my students. I had a free morning, however, since the supervision of teachers of another subject was conducted. I got in the end just the finished envelopes including work in the
pressed hand.

What looks like the whole thing can admire her in the photos. Together with the written class tests last week which I have now I have done in the next few weeks a whole chunk of paperwork. Thus, needless to question how I will spend my time up to the holidays. But somehow it was a nice feeling to see how the children work hard and motivate. It has mediated at least in the sense that a little something to have. What I have read so far is not that bad. In addition, the correction may indeed be comfortable with candlelight and relaxing music.

I will soon try a video from Accra to upload, but the connection here at school unfortunately, too slow. Therefore I will probably for a trip to Vodafone Internet Cafe have to make.

Will Building Blocks Explode In Fire

In Accra, the pulse

So I took the last working day of the week free to in the night from Thursday to Friday a VIP bus stops (somehow ridiculous to) climb here in Kumasi, which I should then bring on the night after Accra. I was accompanied by some other female volunteers. Lea unfortunately could not take the journey with me, since, under the Malaria still could use some rest.

It was therefore just after 1 clock going in Kumasi. The bus was very comfortable and air conditioned. Early in the morning, there was a great sunrise in Accra to see. Samir came about three hours later and finally on to the bus station. One can not blame him, but absolutely at the traffic situation in Accra. It's just the pure insanity. All road networks are completely overloaded. We explored a bit then the city center and ate at the "Galitos" what me a bit of Burger King has recalled or so.

Then it went from then on in Samir's project. For the way there we braucheten then again a good two hours. Since I am really glad that the situation in Kumasi to be more relaxed in Vergelich. Generally, people act in Kumasi friendly, helpful and less intrusive. Accra is simply a very large, noisy and dirty city. This must be said just then another. For this course you have the sea right outside the front door.

Samir's project is the "Good Shepherd Orphranage" and is located on the western outskirts of Accra. Again, I must say that I like my project to better what lengths to shelter, care and general terms of living conditions. Samir is unfortunately not really happy with the current situation. But he also has only 3 months here in Ghana.

made after a fun day and a night of beer, guitar and vocals Samir us I Next day on us at the Kokrobitey Beach Resort. There, we booked with Obi from Liverpool and from Vienna, Christoph a really nice bungalow right behind the bar in addition there was a happy reunion with Seth and Laurids residing here in Accra and I already knew from Cape Coast. Okay the rest of you can imagine. In the evening there was a large party with live reggae music and a lot of alcoholic beverages. Previously, we have our beach restaurant but still indulged in lasagna.
