Can I Use Opalescence After It Expires

... of cool kids and cool grandma

After a long, long time I report back to me in the world of Internet-active people. Sorry for the long radio silence, but you know how it is ...
First I would like to report our Campamento in Mar de Ajo, a small town on the southern coast of Argentina.
last week is so very down La Paloma, all children, all young and all the staff for four days at's Campamento, which for me was in many respects very instructive (again for the explanation (!): A Campamento is almost like ne class trip , a summer camp, much more ...).
It started with the fact that before the announcement was made: We meet every Thursday morning at 7 in La Paloma clock to leave. Who is, of course, got up at 5:30 in the morning, has dragged the bus half asleep, and then to point 7 in La Paloma to be? Right: the naive, German a volunteer! And who else was there to point 7? Correct: No one! (From the small, Kleff whose dog who lives in the project apart) My staff wobbled at some point to 7:45, and all the children anyway came an hour too late. Had I actually also think in advance can ensure that a meeting scheduled at 7 clock in the morning of Argentines impossible can be serious and therefore should be taken literally in any case. Well, again what is learned.
On the trip to Mar de Ajo, which incidentally, literally means "sea of garlic (is because the farmers in the area wash their garlic in the sea before they sell it - no joke), I could not then fortunately a little catch up on sleep. Unfortunately, the trip went incredibly in the length, so that we for a distance of 380 km all in all, six hours were traveling. We all saw had a total of forty eight of our charges to vomit while driving, because they simply do not travel in a double-decker bus in which it Every once and sometimes rocks, are used to. The outward journey was so for all rather exhausting. was therefore all the greater the joy when we finally arrived in Mar de Ajo, and it also went to the beach. That was fun!! I think I have the children have never been so upbeat and lively experience, as on the day. You have to know, however, that the vast majority have never seen before, the sea, which was for so-n Kiel lass like me, who is indeed practically at the beach Surendorf grew up previously difficult to imagine. In any case, we have spent the day trying to jump over the waves, building sand castles and playing beach soccer. Incidentally, it is very funny to see how kids are changing the face of the "sooo dangerous, raging sea." While our youngest, this summer has learned to swim just in the pool, bravely dashing forward and appeared with her big brother through the waves, clinging to two of the usually cool guys from fear of my upper arms, because they the water is already up to the knees. Overall, it was just a very nice day, the children in another element, another light has to appear.
To the place where we were staying with all (a type of school camp at the We the family of an employee passes are), I must say that the thing would probably have no German Hygiene Sichherheits or otherwise resisted what control: 7-person room in an area of perhaps five Quaratmetern, rotten, three-story bunks, bathr full of dirt and cobwebs, cockroaches nests under the sink, moldy ceilings, doors and windows ... of the saggy, not to vermin infested with foam mattresses completely. Nevertheless, the children were very enthusiastic about the place and began to direct, to store their few belongings in the drawers of her wet room. One girl has even sought again to make sure it is right that she has a whole bed to yourself, and whether they really do not have to share with someone. These reactions of the children have somehow indicate what the circumstances are probably at their home when they respond to the rotten conditions in the home been so positive. But maybe because I use my usual standards to European standards a bit high ...

In any case, kept the good mood. In the evening we were from the local movie theater owner, who is a childhood friend of an employee (well running, it's just everything about relationships these days - even in Argentina) invited to the movies and have the new film version of "Alice in Wonderland" with Johnny Depp seen. Very sweet was that, even if half of the children fell asleep during the movie. Beach, fresh air, lots of new things - that's just so tired!
was Unfortunately, the high spirits of all on the last night a little clouded, has disappeared as suddenly in the heat of the moment the camera from La Paloma. Impressed me the most, as my colleagues have dealt in this moment with the delicate situation. No one is angry, panicked or become loud, but it was explained very calmly and objectively what was happening and that we should now seek together the camera. As it even after a two-hour search operation in which the whole area was turned on its head, is not shown up, there was general an angry, sad mood. It was an appeal on the part of employees to the conscience of the children and young people that if one should have the camera, he it was to enter in some way back, as the camera ownership is all and then one all to both the camera had robbed and to the ideal value of the photos. Unfortunately, the camera is not yet re-emerged ... We can only hope!
Totz this ugly incident at the end, however, it was a great, vibrant Campamento that we could spend together at sea and will hopefully bring a good start to another year of La Paloma!

Another highlight of recent weeks was also the concert by Coldplay in the large River Plate football stadium! Real wrong! One of the best concerts I have ever visited! Although I previously was poured out Coldplayfan not so, I must say that I was impressed with the show real. We were standing right out in front, so the really quite stark stage show has affected us directly. It was really cool n evening! And already the next concert is on the schedule: Next week's to Nelly Furtado. I say yes: Technically concert I take everything goes with what! In Germany, the cards are again three times as expensive ...

Tjaaa, and then there was of course the visit of my absolutely cool, adventurous grannies, who have put together on the plane to come visit the common granddaughter for three weeks in Buenos Aires. This was a great time! The two have looked at the standard things of Buenos Aires were incredible (!) Shopping a lot and have also seen the waterfalls in IguazĂș. One of the greatest days for me was definitely the visit to my grandma in La Paloma. For me it was crazy to see how polite and accommodating my hooligans to behave, if they want. Almost well-behaved;) There was of course good, too, that the grandmothers of Merle tons of gummy bears and have brought back from Germany especially children chocolate.
Other highlights were the evenings with us in the apartment, at which have boiled my grandma's nice hearty for the WG. So they have to stew and vegetable stew easily slipped into the hearts of my roommates ;-)
Somehow, the two ladies, however, tended to replace everything they thought was broken or old. So it was - hey presto - a new football for La Paloma and the poor sight of our new tin pan Teflon cookware for the WG (!). Really cool!
best I watch the einfch the photos that give a good impression of the visit of my absolutely brave, fit grannies!
In any case, it was great to have visitors from home, show all and again to be able to feel a little family. And for the happiness that goes with the great visit of the home straight on, for two weeks now, my dear parents come to the city of good airs - juppiiiie!
But until then, I have to work again a bit small at first, clean them and go to concerts.
Take care, let you not to spoil much of the gray rainy weather, the mood.

Sunny greetings from the hammock on the patio sends you
Merle

PS: Oh yes, I have some news: Yesterday, my roommate and I n absolutely cool, retro sofa excessive concern for our flat, so n old two people - with olive green leather sofa. Have we found the rubbish on the street:)
