After a nice weekend with Samir, Lea and Tuulia in Accra, I am now back in school and started two days ago, the huge mountain of books which are in the middle of the library is to be removed. I will use the books in a empty classroom in intermediate storage, so I have the necessary space to clean the actual library. The entire area is currently under namely a 2 cm thick layer of dust and dirt. I will therefore probably be busy the next few days to weeks with the basic cleaning.
I also have hit me with a carpenter and examined the windows in the library. I would say the first money that I get by using your donations for the renovation of the windows. Currently missing 41 window panels. Through these holes, of course, comes all the time Dirt and dust from the outside in.. So before I can begin to effectively clean up the space I need to fill these holes. Furthermore, a window made from scratch, simply because there is currently only one gapes open air conditioning duct in the wall. At this point I again a very big THANK YOU to the people who have already pledged their support for or already have donated something. This makes it possible for me to start directly with the windows.
